Package: apt Version: 0.3.3 Severity: wishlist The files in apt cache not only have arch inserted in their names but also the epoch seems to be prepended to the version name. There is "%3a" between the epoch and the version number. Apt itself does not seem to have any problems with this but it looks rather odd. I just want to make sure this is intended.
The reason I am concerned with this is because I have a script that maintains partial local mirror that feeds from apt cache. I think that partial local mirror is a convenient alternative to shared apt cache as it allows non-redundant alternate apt or mirror runs. It would be nice to have partial local mirror capability in apt.
