Hi, Any gnome-libs starting somewhere in the .99.x snapshot series and going until the latest CVS snaps should work fine with gnome-apt. The "officially supported" gnome-libs are any of the 1.0.x releases. Should include any gnome-libs from the last 4 or 5 months.
Unfortunately Slink shipped with a really old .30 gnome-libs I think. These are on the order of 8 months old, and are not source compatible. Havoc
