Hello there,
I have hacked together the smallest of perl scp/ssh connections methods for
apt. This solved our current problem of security over the network installations.
We currently use RSA for authentication so there is not need to worry about
passwords.
Question is, should I submit it to you people for inclussion, or make it a
seperate pacakge
apt-methods-ssh
or is there already one in latter distributions etc.
Which is the best method for you.
BTW. APT has saved HOURS of upgrading our boxes and maintaining our own
internal packages. Thanks !!!
