Package: gnome-apt Version: 0.3.6 Severity: normal After I've select some packages to install/update. The running dpkg window appears. The text area starts filling with output from the upgrade. When the text reaches the bottom, it causes the window to scroll up. The new lines that appear at the bottom have one character, and the rest of the line is filled with black. As the window continues to scroll the output from dpkg becomes completely black. I cannot read the message that tells me it is safe to close the window.
I can get the text to appear in place of the large black square by doing something that causes the window to refresh (i.e. put another window on top and the reveal the "running dpkg" window). -- System Information Debian Release: potato Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux tigana 2.2.13 #2 Mon Nov 8 11:19:47 EST 1999 i686 Versions of packages gnome-apt depends on: ii apt 0.3.14 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii apt [libapt-pkg2.6] 0.3.14 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii gdk-imlib1 1.9.8-2 Gdk-Imlib is an imaging library fo pn libapt-pkg2.6 Not found. ii libart2 1.0.54-1 The Gnome canvas widget ii libaudiofile0 0.1.9-0.1 The Audiofile Library ii libc6 2.1.2-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libesd0 0.2.15-7 Enlightened Sound Daemon - Shared ii libglib1.2 1.2.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome32 1.0.54-1 The Gnome libraries ii libgnomesupport0 1.0.54-1 The Gnome libraries (Support libra ii libgnomeui32 1.0.54-1 The Gnome libraries (User Interfac ii libgtk1.2 1.2.6-1 The GIMP Toolkit set of widgets fo ii libstdc++2.10 1:2.95.2-3 The GNU stdc++ library ii libzvt2 1.0.54-1 The Gnome zvt (zterm) widget ii xlib6g 3.3.5-2 shared libraries required by X cli ii zlib1g [libz1] 1:1.1.3-5 compression library - runtime
