OK, this has nothing to do with #220579 (a segmentation fault), then, and doesn't sound like a bug at all. The update will run very fast when the package lists have not changed since the last time it was run (it prints out a line for each explaining what happened with it), and it has not performed the "Building Dependency Tree" step since version 0.5.5. -- - mdz
