Comparing the real MD5Sum of the file ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/m/mozilla-firefox/mozilla-firefox_0.8-4_i386.deb with the MD5Sum listed in Packages shows that they are identical. Thus, there appears to be a bug witin apt-get itself.
