Package: apt Version: 0.5.27 Severity: normal In the course of dealing with a user's bug, I happened to notice that apt has no conffiles and doesn't clean up its configuration files on --purge. Policy requires that packages delete their configuration information upon being purged. Admittedly, it's kind of silly to purge apt, but it would be nice if it worked properly anyway.
