Also, about those man page changes, that's not Ground Control, that's deja-dup's stupid po4a support for man pages. I keep meaning to fix that, but the upshot is that when you run 'make', generally all the man pages have their timestamp updated. po4a doesn't seem to have a way to stop that, but I could probably spend some time to stop it.
