I've an old friend in Evesham, somewher near the river, his front door opens to a flight of concrete steps - everything is on the first and second floor. All that's on the ground floor is the garage. Trouble is (in the past - when there had not been any flooding for a while) people would start storing all sorts of things in the garage...
