First you have to check two things:

1) The CharacterSet of your RichEdit
2) Check if russian is installed on your windows in the regional settings.

Good luck

Subject: [delphi-en] Russian characters

Hi!
I am trying to develop a translation program from Russian to
English/Swedish, but when I
bought a new computer with XPHome, the RichEdit wouldn't accept the Russian
characters, like
the Win 98 version would do. I've tried on several machines with XPHome,
with the same result.
Neither Delphi 4 nor Delphi 7 richedits will accept the chars any more. I
thought that XP would
accept the normal Windows 1251 font. Can anybody help, please?

Regards
Christer Andersson
