1. Using TBatchMove component (I've test it - it works quiote well) 2. Manually parsing datasets on per-record basis making needed data type transaltions (also used this approach with no problems) You are wrong with Excel - I work with Excel export\import files more than 5Mb with no problems. May be you are speaking of older Excel versions? Anyway, it is hard to advise something more specific without the details about your data.
