Hi,

Here is a program I make it for same thing to translet,

You can call this program by OLE

function GetWord(const St: WideString; Index: Shortint): OleVariant;

Index = 0 Main word

Index = 1 Translation

St = Main string

And you'll see on taskbar icon for the dictionary and the tranlation in
*---*, when you change it, it returns with the value you modify.

Now it supports one language and I will be improving it soon.

And it's better to run it with your program.

About the forms you need to create custom form and in source of create you
translet the contents.

If you need any further information you can contact me.

Regards,

Subject: [delphi-en] laguage translation of program

Does anyone have any experience with language translations of programs? We
do have 1 enterprise and 6 prof users and want to translate an application.

A lot of the things that has to be translated are string already combined in
one unit, but also the captions of forms and butons etc has to be translated

I know enterprise has a translation manager, but what is the easiest (or
better : the best) way to translate and sync future releases (only translate
differences with previous translation).

All experience and hints will be welcomed

regards

Andries
