The  sample code below worked in TForm1.StringGrid1DrawCell event.
t:=rect;
drawtext(StringGrid1.Canvas.Handle,PChar('Sample'),-1,t,DT_LEFT);
T.Top:=rect.Top+12;
drawtext(StringGrid1.Canvas.Handle,PChar('Try'),-1,t,DT_WORDBREAK);
    
Just explore with the above commands.
