You can also try UPX. This utility compresses the resources in your app with little to no performance lost. You can download it here: http://upx.sourceforge.net/ I find it useful with clients with slow internet connections. Your are hard pushed to write a program bigger than 1Mb. Then add in allocated carelessly coded arrays that allocate space even when not needed and you can use a few Mb.
