Hi Peter! I have recently become aware of the Ubuntu Linux project and am very excited about the possibility of leaving windows for good. I don't have any tips for you on how to connect with any group of Free pascal developers, but if you do, please let me know.

I have recently installed Linux UBUNTU Christian Edition and I am loving it... it is so much more stable that M$ Windows!!! Yesterday I worked out how to install Lazarus & Free Pascal, however since I'm a newbie to it I still don't even know how to start the Lazarus RAD (which is supposed to be very similar to Delphi). What I really am asking for is: Are the any ppl who are using Lazarus + Free Pascal??? The name Domonique Louis seems to be familar to me, as he is a person who advocates Pascal and Delphi development -- in particular the JEDI library. Can someone please tell me if there is a forum for Linux Free Pascal & Larazus as I think that that is what I need. E.g. Somewhere where I can posts messages and get friendly replies from ppl using Free Pascal. I have written (in the past) a number of Delphi projects, including games which I'd like to try to make Linux versions of. Note that my home pc is now 100% Linux Ubuntu Christian Edition and I have no desire to install Micro$oft Windows (again). nb -- I'm using a pc in the Hobart State Reference Library to post this message. Yours Sincerely and With Best Wishes to ALL, pew signing off from beautiful Hobart, Tasmania, Australia (in Winter time here). ----------------------------------------------------- Home page: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/delphi-en/ To unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo!
