Hello

Thanks to all reply's.

Placemarkers are actually called bookmarks: problem is that bookmarkts will not
be saved within the project and one will loose all bookbarks after the project
has been closed. Also I use a Delphi Source Code Formatter (A realy great
freeware product at http://www.dow.wau.nl/aew/delforexp.html ): using the
formatter will delete all bookmarks but the advantage of the formatter are far
more than the disadvantage. it makes your code much more readable expecially
when you use a lot of begin end's ...

As I have more than 50 units in my project, placing placemarkers is a lot of
work and will not be the solution: the best way to me was:

GExperts solution : scroll to top and find next occurance of uses.(shortcut)
Use Modelmaker Code Explorer (commercial product we already had bought) and use
its possiblity to click on the implementation section and ons jumps to the
right place

I'm just wondering whether you're aware that you can already put

placemarkers in Delphi code.

eg. if you use Ctrl-Shift-0 at a certain line in the code you can

jump back to that line by using Ctrl-0.

You can use any digit 0-9 after Ctrl-Shift so you can mark up to 10

different places in the code.

I use this all the time, and so have never found the need for any

other shortcut mechanism.

Ian.
