The server application is still running, only the icon is not appeared. So
my server application doesn't need to restart, i only want to redisplayed
the icon only.
Thx

Then how can you expect it to restart itself when explorer.exe
restarts? The user obviously has to reconnect to it again.

My server application will run when a user connect to the server
application. I never put it in anywhere, it will run on user connect
So if I run the server application directly it will be a different
instance.
Any idea? thanks

did you try putting the tray icon app. in the "run" section of the
registry instead of Startup group on Start menu?

I have a server application using TRemoteDataModule, and I use tray

So everytime user connect, the tray icon will appear as the server

But when the explorer.exe file is killed from the windows task
manager and
then run the explorer.exe again the tray icon is not redisplayed.
How can I make my icon reappear on explorer.exe restart?other icon
can do
that, like outlook or opera for example.
Also when any user connect to the application server, while nobody
has login
to the server computer, then when someone logon the computer, the
icon is
not appeared
