If you have console rights, you can check in most network envoirenments. Getting console rights is a problem though and if you would like to know this for normal users, then i would probably not be possible to give them all console rights.
I have programmed for about 15 years in Clipper, and in that time, i did not work a lot with Novell, but i know the option exists. I can't believe otherwise, that something like this should work for Delphi as well. If you know the program DNTU (DameWare NT Utilities) you may know that something you want is coded there. Of course, the source code is, unfortunately, not included. Sorry if i could not help any further, but i just wanted to add this.
