I do exactly the same with macros - especially if I have to program in VBA
(which is not very often)! - but I find that keeping one eye on the MSDN site
is often useful, as is Deborah Pate's site:

http://www.djpate.freeserve.co.uk/AutoWord.htm

not only for the insights Deborah gives but also for the useful links she has
also provided.

Subject: [delphi-en] Re: Accessing Word from Delphi [Code and what Word
does wrong, or maybe me)

when i want something done in Delphi, i first create a macro in VBA to
know how i should do it in Delphi.
Of course, when i program in VBA i do not create Macro's :)

When creating the macro, VBA tells me that i need to use 1.5 for
setting my bottom margin.
That Delhi sees this as 1.5 points, that was unclear to me.

Thanks for pointing this out to me guys.
