Are the records already sorted ascending on that field when they are first
loaded from disk?

i think the problem is when clientdataset try to build the index for
the first time. because once the index is built(after the user sort in
descending order for the first time), the sorting works fine. what i
dont understand is why this only occur when the sorting is in
descending order and only for this particular field.
