Hi all, help needed here.
I just installed Firebird v1.5 into my PC - Windows Vista yesterday. After the
installation completed, I open BDE Administrator application and try to open
'IBLocal' alias database in which the database name points to 'C:\Program
Files\Common Files\Borland Shared\Data\EMPLOYEE.GDB' ! It will then prompt me
for UserName and Password. I filled it up with 'SYSDBA' and 'masterkey'
respectively and click OK. The system prompt me with a Database Engine Error
saying : Unknown user name or password. Unavailable database. Alias: IBlocal
Anyone know what's the error msg about ? I double checked and im sure the
database is there !! Thanks in advance for the help..
