Francisco,
Prior to version 10. The installation was achieved by just puttiing the
relevant dlls in the correct directories. After that it all changed... So that
any one pc could run different versions of crystal reports eg. 10, 11 ... etc
they used the merge module method that involves a full set up being created
...including merge modules..

I do have a set up somewhere that I created to install the v10 merge modules..
Let me know if you need it and I will send to your email account
n

 best wishes,

Ed Horrocks

Subject: [delphi-en] Re: Crystal reports in Delphi

Hello Ed, thanks for your comments.

Well, My Crystal reports version is 10.0
My delphi version is 7.0 and i am using MS SQLServer 2005 as datasource.

I am using the Crystal Reports VCL and for that doesn't exists specific Merge
modules. However i've tried to use merge modules for RDC Component but it
didn't work.

I've followed crystal help files instructions copying required DLL's and other
files, registry entries, etc.

I don't know what to do now.

However, rarely only in 4 computers i could run my application and launch
crystal reports. I've followed the same procedure in other computers but i
don't know exactly why doesn't run on them.

Do you have any idea ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
