When only playing back (MP3) audio, I suggest you have a look at later and
better
alternatives ("Engines") like FMOD and BASS:

===> BASS: http://www.un4seen.com
If you (also) want to play back video's take a look at DirectShow itself, by
use of
a component-package like DSPack.
===> DSPack: http://www.progdigy.com/
Both solutions are more flexible, solid, modern (and above all free or
cheap) than
using things like TMediaPlayer and a timer.

I am unable to find any help on windows media player component latest
wrapper. How to control continuous/cyclic playing of a mp3 till it is
