I started on the Tandems in 1986, and fell "in love" with them. I was an
Operator then when I was in the service, and I worked on Honeywells, Tandems
and a few others in the Air Mobility Command data Center.

As for the Tandems, I've been a Operator, SYSADMIN, Developer and for the past
14 years, a DBA. My experience in JCL and other IBM/VS mainframe languages,
etc was limited to school, and that was in the early 1980's when I was in the
service.
