Job Summary: The Business Analysts primary responsibility involves partnering with multiple department/functional areas to interpret business strategies and objectives to support implementation of appropriate information systems applications. Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or the Life Sciences or combination or education and experience required. - Three to five years related experience. Skill Set: - Familiar with Query and Reporting Tools (JD Edwards, CDSS, Data Warehousing, Cognos, Visual Basic, Brio Query, Showcase, Maximo, etc.) - Ability to complete entity relationship diagrams (Analyst & Consultant levels), as well as demonstrate client server and database fundamentals - Ability to demonstrate data interfaces/file transfer, reporting and analysis skills, documentation management, and basic interviewing skills - Familiar with technical diagram/process flow-charting, and MS Office Applications-Excel, PowerPoint, & Word, including MS Project (project scheduling, time management) and MS Windows Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
