Job Description: - The IT Consultant advises customers about the technical uses of my client's products and ensures the successful implementation of their products at the customer site. - The Consultant will work with our core team of developers and our partners around the world to ensure high-quality implementation of the various projects. - The IT Consultant must have experience in working in an IT role in the Banking Industry. - Should have dealt with Data Vendor feeds such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Telekurs, etc. Banks use these vendors to obtain financial market information. - The software specialists, who dealing with this in the back offices of banks, know how these processes operate in banks and understand most of the terminology and know how to interface between different data streams. - The IT consultant installs our software in banks and takes part in large implementation projects as our product expert (from a software point of view), or acts as the specialist actively working on the integration of our software with the proprietary software of the bank. Job Requirements: - Implementation of our products at customer site, Customer advice, Customer support, Transfer of knowledge, Operate and travel internationally. - Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience. - Knowledge of investment and financial instruments. - Knowledge of finance and financial data sources. - Good command of the English language (oral + written). - It is an advantage if the candidate has dealt with large, multi threaded, database systems For this role the following requirements apply: - University degree / Information or Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics; - In-depth knowledge of UNIX, Sybase, Oracle, Java, C/C++, Perl, AWK, and Shell scripting; - Some understanding of the processes taking place in financial institutions; - At least 3 years work experience in a comparable role, preferably at a software vendor.
