Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned Managing clients engineering requirements, which includes costing, R&D, and manufacturing engineering - Provide customer assistance and provide solutions - Research and develop new products, prototype through production - Reviews custom drawings to determine if existing or new designs will satisfy requirements - Responsible of all necessary documentation in design-in cycle, which include bills of material, new material drawings and engineering instructions - Interfaces daily by phone or e-mail with client base to support customer designs - Interfaces daily with manufacturing and members of sales team to insure customer needs are addressed - There is some travel Qualifications: - Strong working knowledge of ferrite and iron materials available throughout the industry. - Prior CAD software experience, AutoSketch preferred Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office experience. - Strong oral and written communication skills, and good organizational skills - Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to work in fast-paced environment Education and/or Experience: - 5-10 years hands-on RF Inductor design experience - College graduate with BS EE or BS ME degree. - Mil Spec design, managerial experience and/or a Masters Degree would be a plus.
