Hi

If you install to a USB drive you would proably have to extract the 
delphi particular registries and run them on the computer you wish to 
work on.  Keeping in mind that you would need to make sure that the USB 
drive has always the same drive letter.  The other consideration would 
be that each computer would need to have the Borland shared information 
and BDE installed for the Delphi to work properly if you need to work on 
databases. 

My recommendation is to download a virtual machine called VirtualBox and 
create a virtual computer, install your development environment there 
and then run the image from your USB drive.  In this manner you are 
walking around with a fully configured computer.  I have done this 
successfully when I need a transportable Delphi 7.  You would obviously 
need virtual box installed on the client computer but this will be a 
quick effortless install which you can in the end remove quite easily.
