Hiya, quick question, I need to replicate part of a table (or group of
tables) and modify 1 record in each, but I'm not sure of the best/optimal
way...
Image some tables like:
Table A: ConfigID, ObjectName, StartDate, EntryType, ObjectStatus
Table B: ConfigID, ObjectName, Description
Each record is an effective master/detail relationship with the details of
objects assigned to Configurations.
What I want to do is make a "new configuration" where ALL data for ConfigID
x is duplicated in its own tables for ConfigID x+1.
I'm thinking I could do something with a BatchMove possible... does anyone
have any ideas?
