This is all from memory ( I read it somewhere- but not certain now where that was) -
May have been on the Borland website in the TI documents.
It is related to problems with Video drivers. Image Lists are initially stored in the
Video memory, when the size of the image list exceeds the capacity of the Video card
memory, it is supposed to then be moved into Main memory - however it appears many
Video drivers do not do this correctly.
I think this is related to the problems that the Delphi IDE has with it's component
Icons.
Possible solutions - a) get updated video driver, b) get new video card with heaps of
memory.

Subject: [DUG]: Timagelist problems
A while back we chatted on the problem of Imagelist doing some weird things.
Now I have one user who reports that they can only get 5 pictures (which
means the imagelist is full at 5).
I have suggested the following to them:
Try using another computer.
Increase the memory if only 16Mb to 32Mb.
Use a later version of Windows.
Sick excuses I know, but does anybody else have any other suggestions they
might try.
This is not common to my knowledge, but certainly part of the formula I used
with the knowledge that at least on 2 PCs here my software would only do 25
images using Imagelist, so I limited the image count to 15.
Thanks.
