Yep, the O8 client was fully installed with every option, and SQL*Plus
appeared to work fine. The only thing I have to go on is the fact that the
BDE VendorInit seems to ignore its own settings and go for the Borland
default file.

I expected the BDE alias to be very simple.. but not so. I will try un
registering the dll and re registering the correct Dll and see how I go.

It is good to get confirmation that it does work simply. Thanks.
