An easy one I think ...
Can anyone tell me an easy way to see if an IP address is able to be
accessed. I have a program which needs to be able to see if a certain
address is available before firing off a couple of processes. I managed to
get a simple version running using both TNMEcho and TClientSocket in Delphi
4, but these only seem to run properly under NT, not windows 95, which is
the intended platform. I basically just want to ping the address and get a
yes / no answer.
