I would appreciate if all messages sent to me were in plain text only,
without attachments unless requested, and definatly did not have digital
signature. During
the working day I have a VERY slow phone connection and all this bloat is
very difficult for me, wastes time, and sometimes locks up my machines. I
doubt there is anything on this list that requires a digital signature, RTF,
or attachments. Lets face it, they are toys. Keep it slim and brief please.

Tony.

This is naturally all IMHO but I want a consensus or possibly a solution...

The messages posted with a digital signature consistently lockup 4 of our
machines (2 running Outlook Express from IE4 on win95b and NTWS4sp6a
and 2 running Outlook Express from IE5 on win95b and NTWS4sp6a)...

a) Is there a reason they lock up that can be fixed by a reg-hack or option
  change...
b) is the digital signing using such complex keys really necessary in this
group...

This is the only time I've ever been confronted with signed messages and
the lockups.. On a p200mmx in IE5 version of OExpress on NT it's quicker to
kill the process, reload OE, turn off preview, delete the message, turn on
preview and continue reading than it is to wait for it to display...

Gripe mode off (but it's a hair trigger mind you)...
