I think these problems with AV's in QR Preview with QR3 will drive you nuts!
Better to down load the QR2 version for D4 and use that. I see the same AV
problems exist in QR for D5 as well. The product is crap. You have only seen
the first problem. There are many others.
Most of us who need to write reports have given up and gone with other
products. However, I have found I can live with (only just though) QR2 for
D4, but it is very leaky, but doen't AV. It has cost me a small fortune to
re engineer all my reports into another product. Borland should actually be
made to compensate us for this! Small chance!
Yes you can go back, but after doing so you need to open every report and
touch every Before, On, and After print method and force every report to re
compile.
QR1 looked promising so we all supported it. QR2 failed to deliver the
promise. QR3 is absolute rubbish and everyone associated with its release
including B should be utterly ashamed.
