Hello everyone,
I do not like some statement in some pdf file including in Interbase 5.5 of
Delphi 5 Enterprise. They stated similarly as follows:
You can easily change BDE alias to move your application from using Paradox
engine to Interbase Server.
This will lead to a wrong idea. Abuse to use Interbase Server or whatever
SQL Server. To my understanding, if you want to take advantage of any SQL
server, the migration from Paradox engine to SQL Server cost not within
minutes time, sincerely it will cost weeks. Nothing is cheap.
I hope Inprise or Corel, can correct these kind of statements in their
documents.
By the way, it is my personal opion.
Best Regards
Leigh Wanstead
