We have a Delphi 4 project that compiles Ok but
when you run it either from Delphi or as an executable
on Windows 98, the error message
"There is not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more
programs and then try again" occurs.
This is the only program running and the machine has 128 MB of RAM.
Other windows 98 machines give the same error message.
Other slight variations on the project do compile and run ok on Windows 98.
The project runs fine on a Windows 2000 machine.
Has anyone seen this problem or knows of what (Windows 9x) limits may have
been reached?
We tried adding a break point into the DPR file on the
first runable line (Application.Initialise) but the out of memory error
occurs before then.
Thanks in advance, Phil
