Thanks Bevan,
another quick one, what property am I looking for to determine whether
something has a blue focus rectangle around it? Even if nothing is
highlighted in the treeview, it still returns something as selected. This
is also the case after cycling though the control and making sure all the
nodes have Selected set to false. Focused doesn't seem to work either.

There is a ReadOnly property that will do this for you.
