Why should I ignore your post it was in direct response to one of mine and
I felt it was erroneous.
Further to

This method has serious problems

1/ Retention of Surrogate keys (in some systems)
2/ Ref Int dependancies

In a complex db these would certainly make if more difficult to do in Delphi
