i've gotten rid of this by deleting the desktop file
of the project with the problem

A student here has lost the main Delphi control panel (the one with menu &
palettes). The editor and Object inspector appear OK, but nothing else. I
think I've seen this before and it had something to do with a registry
setting. Can anyone help?
