I have been using
the TNMPop3 component successfully, however when the internet connection is made
using dialup networking very strange things happen when connections
fail.
Usially if the
connection fails because of a bad password, and exception is raised. When i am
connected usng dialup networking the exception is raised, but instead of doing
the usial fallout stuff the application goes into a new message loof. If the
program is paused, the call stack says that we are in the connect procedure, but
a message loop is being executed above it. At this point the program appears to
be running as normal (except that the process didn't finish), and you can use
the screen that launched the procedure, and you can close it and open other
screens, but you cannot quit the application.
Has anyone seen this
before?
