AFAIK the message ID's are all done by the SMTP
servers. I.e. You don't put one on the message, the server adds it to the
message header.

Subject: [DUG]: Email problems
I am sending emails
using TNMSMTP (TIDSMTP has the same problems).
When I send a
message to an address on my exchange server (ie. its all internal. the mail goes
between 2 users on the same server) the message does not have a Message-ID. If I
send messages from Outlook (same story. all internal) then there is a mesage ID.
Is there something i
need to be doing when sending these messages to tell exchange to give it a
message ID?
Thanks
Stacey
