well, maybe, yeah.... Java has no linker, just a compiler. It has a
packager, tho, which is pretty much just pkzip (jar files)

then Java compiles to a virtual machine, which could be made real, and
Delphi compiles to a real machine, that can be virtual. No real difference.
Its just that Java's machine is usually software, and Delphi's is usually
hardware.
