Yes Windows does rules the world and they do have great ideas, 
but not that great execution of those ideas (because they are trying 
to ADJUST VB in there). That's where they have gone wrong. And 
now they've come up  with C#, another way of trying to keep people 
to use their products.

I have used VB but it was nowhere near Delphi in terms of ease of 
use and power of OOP. And I think that's what M$ have realized 
and they have paid Borland to include their components in Delphi5. 
VB is for people who have no flavour for programming, they just 
want to get things done (with no control over their code).

And whoever I know, who has used VB and Delphi, will always 
choose Delphi to do the job(given the option). 

And it is not to be forgotten that VB was designed by same person 
who designed Delphi. 

So, VB might be the most popular of the lot but it is not the 
RULER.
