That's one issue yes, sadly when I told my QA person that, she complained 
that the applications never created lock files before, so it shouldn't do 
now.  The application doesn't use Paradox at all (SQL7, Sybase, and Oracle 
via the BDE), so no idea why this happening....  I'm just gonna disable 
that feature which makes the TUpdateSQL needed for now until I think it 
through...
