I'm dabbling in converting my single tier Paradox app to a 2
tier Interbase app.
I would be very interested to hear from a variety of
developers on what sort of pricing differences (between the two types of apps)
they have applied.
ie If the Paradox app can command a $1000 price tag, what
governs the price of a 2 tier system?
Is it $X for the server plus $Y for each client
or maybe
$X for the server and $Y for each site on the WAN plus $Z for
each user?
What sort of pricing structures have people managed to make
stick?
