Jeremy,

Have you written the OnExecute event handlers for the actions? If there is
no OnExecute event handler, then the action will not be enabled. Make sense,
really.

Cheers,
Kuet-Fung.

Subject: [DUG]: Strange TActions Behaviour

HI all.

IN Delphi 6, I have been playing around with the TActionManager.
I create some actions, then put a TActionToolbar on the form.
Then I drag the actions form the TActionManager to the TActionToolbar.
The actions appear as expected.
I then run the app. and the actions are all disabled !
I made sure that they are enabled, and they are disabled.
I then put a standard tool bar on the form and tied the buttons to the
actions of anoteh TAction control.
I ge the same problem ! the buttons are disabled.

Anyone know whats wrong ? maybe I am missing a step or somehting, but I
cant see where/how.

Thanks, Jeremy
