No. I think they are going to get more of a support person now. The apps that I develop are pretty stable and don't need much more development. When I first started they were after a full time developer, but over time the Apps that needed to be developed have, and most changes required have been done.
If I was staying they would get more development, but it would be just adding things cos we could, if you know what I mean. If your willing to handle support calls, with rostered On Call support I could put your name forward. Would guess 30 / 70 dev to support ratio for any new person they take on. -----Original Message----- From: Jeremy Coulter [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, 20 September 2002 8:22 To: Multiple recipients of list delphi Subject: RE: RE: [DUG]: Interbase and Citrix Environment Hmmm...I am looking for/need a Delphi job......should I just pretend I didn't see this? :-) Have they advertised your position at all? Problem with IT in our company is anyone good get p*ssed off with bullsh^t like this which happens all the time, and leaves. Leaving deadwood and dipsh^ts running the place. Major problem is we are a Satellite operation running out of ChCh, and get unilateral decisions made for us from Head Office, with no good reason, because it doesn't fit in with the way they do things up there. Anyway, I don't care I'm outta here next Wednesday. So if anyone in sees a job for a Delphi Developer for Progressive, take my advise, don't apply. -----Original Message----- From: Paul Eggleton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, 19 September 2002 4:59 To: Multiple recipients of list delphi Subject: RE: RE: [DUG]: Interbase and Citrix Environment James Sugrue wrote on Thursday, 19 September 2002 4:30 p.m.: > Basically because they're f^ck wits. In this case you might want to at least try to calmly explain to them why they shouldn't do it that way. - Paul ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- New Zealand Delphi Users group - Delphi List - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website: http://www.delphi.org.nz To UnSub, send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body of "unsubscribe delphi" Web Archive at: http://www.mail-archive.com/delphi%40delphi.org.nz/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- New Zealand Delphi Users group - Delphi List - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website: http://www.delphi.org.nz To UnSub, send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body of "unsubscribe delphi" Web Archive at: http://www.mail-archive.com/delphi%40delphi.org.nz/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Zealand Delphi Users group - Delphi List - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website: http://www.delphi.org.nz To UnSub, send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body of "unsubscribe delphi" Web Archive at: http://www.mail-archive.com/delphi%40delphi.org.nz/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Zealand Delphi Users group - Delphi List - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website: http://www.delphi.org.nz To UnSub, send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body of "unsubscribe delphi" Web Archive at: http://www.mail-archive.com/delphi%40delphi.org.nz/
