I presume you're using XP??  I had the same problem (almost exactly) with my
CADD program 2 days ago.  Someone on the CADD forum suggested that it's a
problem that is caused when the default printer is not present or can't be
found.  In the end, I did a System Restore to the day before (when I had
done some major changes) and that fixed it.  No idea what actually caused
the problem.
