There are problems with Delphi date conversion routines and others (Rxlib for one, and either InfoPower or TurboPower was another, I forget exactly), when your PC has a date format like "d-mmm-yyyy". The single "d" means 'suppress the zero if the day is less than 10', but the conversion routines I traced in Rxlib tried to match up the string date with the format string CHARACTER FOR CHARACTER, which don't work so well after the 10th of the month 'cause the date is longer than the format ...
Of course it just so happens that I kinda prefer that date format, so I have had some awkward problems with date conversions before. I think it may have been compounded by using "-" for the delimiter, instead of "/". Unfortunately I don't have a current example to hand so I can't be more specific. Was the system default date format (probably the short one) on that PC different to the others?
