Also I have seen no examples of using the initialize with dynamic arrays?
Also, the first array doesn’t overwrite the second array, rather elements of the second array overwrite each other?

if the array is not a field of an object then you must call initialize or finalize as per the delphi help before and after use. ie public to a unit?
